About the Job

Correct Group Ltd an IT Support Services Company - based in Kentish Town, London, requires an experienced and organised Bookkeeper to join our diverse team to provide maternity cover.

The role would suit an experienced and responsible finance professional who enjoys active involvement across the business.

Responsibilities include:

Credit control:

  • Reconcile client accounts
  • Liaise with clients to chase and receive outstanding payments
  • Receive credit card payments using an online payment portal

Bill Payment:

  • Manage supplier payments
  • Verify goods and services have been received


  • Collect and collate staff overtime and expenses information
  • Use software to create the monthly payroll
  • Collate and file staff contracts Annual Leave and sickness  records

Office management:

  • Order office supplies and stationery
  • Receive post


  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Reconcile director credit card expenses


  • VAT returns and assistance in preparation of annual accounts and returns

Experience of Sage line 50 is essential and Moneysoft Payroll manager is desirable. Familiarity with Sagepay Credit Card handling and a Direct Debit collection service would also be desirable but not essential.
