
Contactlaw.co.uk - Website Content Editor needed
Contact Law is a fast-growing company that acts as a broker/agent for law firms, attracting clients through the internet and other mediums. The company runs several websites which provide legal information and access to legal services in the UK and abroad. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Website Content Editor to join a successful young company which is going from strength to strength.
The role will involve being responsible for website copy and growth, more specifically:
· Writing daily and weekly legal blogs for contactlaw.co.uk and associated sites
· Management of our blog sites to improve usability and design
· Close liaison with the Website Manager on copy and website-improvement strategy
· Managing external contractors and the creation of articles for our sites
· Writing and editing articles to a high standard with legal accuracy and for SEO purposes
· Providing support to the Contact Law SEO team so as to meet the natural search visitor and enquiry targets
· Contributing to PR needs of the company
· Control of PR-related work specifically targeted for SEO purposes
· Managing Contact Law’s social media strategies – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
· Project management of other copy-related projects as and when appropriate
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
· Completed a law degree or the GDL
· The ability to produce high-quality copy – preferably legal
· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
· Legal knowledge to help with article/blog writing
· Knowledge of on-page website strategy
· The ability to write creatively and under own direction with confidence
· The ability to edit copy to improve readability and legal accuracy
· Basic website content management knowledge
· Experience in using social media for commercial purposes
· Basic management experience
