Claims Adjuster (Motor – Public and Personal Liability)

Main purpose, needs and skills required for the role:   

To handle Motor, Liability and Casualty claims to conclusion within product standards by investigating liability, evaluating damages, negotiating settlement or justifying repudiations.
Review and record claims on Risxfacs. Evaluate quantum, review claims.
Basic Understanding and knowledge of General Insurance principles, legal liability principles and legal process. 
Ability to prioritize workload, work under pressure, liaise with colleagues. Confident telephone and numeracy skills. Capable and confident spoken and written English skills. Accurate data input skills, MS Word, MS Excel Intermediate/Advanced. Access - Intermediate level. Training reinforced by progress towards CII qualifications.
