About the Company

Our client is an organisation of two sister vertical market software business that have experienced considerable growth over the past 3 years.

Both of the businesses proudly provide the most successful range of their niche software in Ireland, with more than 1 in 4 Irish people utilising the products on a daily basis.

Main purpose of job

This role will involve working across both software businesses to:

Be responsible for the development and execution of marketing and lead generation strategies focussing on lead qualification, nurturing and pipeline building.

Main duties include (but are not limited to):

Strategy develop and deliver a campaigns strategy for both new business and existing customers.


Develop and execute on plans to deliver a healthy pipeline of qualified sales opportunities from new and existing customers

Lead Generation

  • Build and deliver a contentbased lead generation and nurturing campaign strategy utilizing marketing best practices, tools and technology to surpass revenue targets
  • Lead the planning and organisation of tradeshows and events to facilitate lead generation, including attendance as appropriate
  • Lead Verification/Qualification/Nurturing
  • Monitor and manage all leads including verification/qualification and lead nurturing

Digital Marketing

  • Oversee, monitor and optimize Wellington and Gaina's digital marketing and discoverability program including corporate web presence, SEO, social media and marketing automation

Content Marketing

  • Working closely with the sales and product teams, develop and deliver a personabased content strategy.
  • This will be aligned with defined buyer's journeys for each solution to create, curate and communicate consumable content that is relevant and tied directly to Wellington and Gaina's unique value proposition and competitive differentiators


  • Plan and manage PR activity designed to create, develop and maintain the positive profile of both businesses in the market

Reporting and Analysis

  • Monitor and manage marketing performance using the HubSpot marketing automation platform as well as realtime activity within Salesforce
  • Work closely with sales and the senior leadership team to make adjustments to strategy and execution as required based on results

Team Development/Management

  • Oversee the dayto-day activities of the Marketing Department including budgeting, planning, resourcing and staff management and development

Essential criteria:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a Marketing, Business or IT related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a marketing role including; Experience of building sales pipeline via market, customer and competitor awareness / intelligence / analysis
  • Experience of content marketing, digital marketing and lead qualification/nurturing
  • Experience of marketing automation and CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively interface with senior management, sales and product leaders
  • Demonstrable passion for building relationships, support sales and anticipating and satisfying customer needs
  • Confident, positive and professional manner
  • Currently holds the right to work in the UK and Ireland
  • Full driving licence
  • B2B marketing experience
  • Software Industry experience
  • People Management experience

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience with Salesforce and HubSpot
