Classified Advertising Sales Executive / Digital Media

Job Overview
As part of our on-going expansion plans we are now looking for a classified sales professional to be solely responsible for building and maintaining a classified section within the National Farmer publication. You will form part of a team which books over 200 advertisements per month, specifically within digital media.
This key role will involve outbound calls utilising an existing database as well as working with the existing sales team to generate new leads to canvass, establishing, maintaining and building strong working relationships with clients and agencies and effectively selling classified advertising to set revenue targets and objectives.
You will be expected to log over 3 hours of productive call rates per day.
Fully computer literate with excellent working knowledge of Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Outlook is essential as is a positive sales attitude and first class communications skills, both written and spoken.

The successful Sales Executive should have the following qualities / skills:
· Want to pursue a career in media sales
· A passion or strong interest in print and digital media
· Have an awareness of the consumer publishing market, the key organisations and the titles they produce
· Be a confident and fluent communicator, both written and oral at all levels
· Awareness to source and act on sales leads
· Be able to log an average of over 3 hours of productive call time per day
· Pitch solutions to clients and agencies which meet with expectations and budgets
· Ability to meet targets both financial and performance related
· Have previous advertising sales experience, although not essential
