Our client requires an additional Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in a team of engineers to assist the efficient and safe production of their goods by ensuring that all production and site equipment runs at maximum efficiency.  The key role of the job is to attend breakdowns promptly and ensure that all planned maintenance tasks are completed.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults on production lines as well as carrying out routine maintenance.  We are looking for proactive engineers who can suggest improvements in the operation, seek approval and implement.  You will also get involved with operational team members training them to perform minor maintenance tasks as well as assisting in major repairs.  You will be asked to maintain records giving details of stoppages with actions to correct.

The successful candidate will be time served and multi skilled (electrically biased) and be educated to HNC standard (or equivalent).  You will have experience of PLC controlled equipment and have worked in a high speed environment.
