Our client has been established for almost a century and is renowned as a market leader in the Industrial Electronics repair sector. As a result of continued success and a planned program of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit a number of dynamic, self motivated and highly capable Drives, Controls and Electronic Bench Engineers to complement their established and highly successful team.

Qualified to a minimum of HNC Level in a relevant engineering discipline or able to demonstrate directly relevant industry sector experience gained in a similar commercial environment, you will perform the effective diagnosis, repair and test down to board level on a range of industrial electronic equipment that will include (but not be limited to) Servo drives, PSU's, monitors, industrial computer, DC drives, Inverters, PLC's and PCB's, and a working knowledge of Siemens, Indramat, Fanuc, Control Techniques and Allen Bradley platforms would prove distinctly advantageous.

The position will involve working on your own initiative, both with and without the use of engineering drawings, and will necessitate offering immediate responses to customers needs both on and off site, so previous experience gained within environments such as Dowding & Mills, ERIKS, Lekronix, Siemens, Fanuc Robotics / CNC, Control Techniques, Bosch and Indramat will prove particularly attractive.

A generous remuneration package is available and includes overtime at £20 per hour (fixed), £85 call out allowances, 5% contribution to Pension Scheme, 25 days holiday plus statutory hols and Life Assurance. Hours of work are from 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm (alternating) although these are negotiable dependant upon circumstances.
