Are you a competent Financial Accounts Assistant confident in working in multiple currencies? Would you like to join the UK's largest wholesaler of luxury furniture? We are looking for a Financial Accounts Assistant to manage the process of high value foreign payments and general finance accounts duties, based out of their head office in Accrington, Lancashire.

You will be an integral support to the financial accounts function of the business, reporting directly into the Financial Accounts Manager your main responsibility will be to manage the process of high value foreign payments made outside of the EU. As Financial Accounts Assistant you will be tasked with ensuring that all foreign payments are made accurately and securely. Duties include; maintaining the online banking and cash banking on a daily basis, preparation of monthly sales lists reports, processing receipts and carrying out bank reconciliations. Other financial accounts tasks include; processing staff travel expenses, carrying out monthly payroll deductions and payroll journals. The post holder will also be expected to provide cover for the Financial Accounts Manager during holiday leave and offering adhoc support to the Financial Accounts Manager when needed.
