Internal sales executive – IT solutions / services
Based in Hampshire
My client is a medium sized IT solutions / services company (circa 30 employees – trading since 2001) based in Southampton. They have numerous technical staff and they are now looking to recruit their first internal sales / business development person. The role reports directly to the directors and involves generating additional IT business in their main market sector (Social Housing) and completely new business in all other market sectors. .
Main purpose of role
- To promote the company’s IT solutions & services and win new business.
- Cold calling to new customers.
- Manage all costs associated with business development
- Ensure that the company’s sales strategy reflects current and future needs of the business and changes in technology.
- Generate appointments for field sales person
Key Skills:
- A proven track record in Business development, essentially in the IT industry.
- An understanding of the core market to achieve new business.
- Must have a ‘Can do, Hands on’ approach
- Team Player.
Salary guideline £20 - 25k basic & benefits and commission
