Java/J2EE/JEE Software Developers - Liverpool
Talented and clear-thinking Java/J2EE server-side developers/programmers are required to join a close knit team of technical and creative minds, who are currently building an exciting next-generation Java games platform. The ideal candidate will have experienced with several frameworks, but have enough design knowledge to use a framework as a tool instead of a prescription. Spring and Hibernate knowledge is important, but certainly you should have the ability to build a comparable solution yourself using JDBC directly, and still have it scale. You will develop in an agile manner, and you should be used to continuous builds, and refactoring when needed, without compromising the long term design goals. Essential skills: Java, J2EE/JEE, JBoss, EJB2, EJB3, AOP, JMS, Struts, Hibernate, SOA. Good web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and database (SQL, relational theory) skills.
