They are currently looking for a number of Mechanical Fitters to join their team on long term contracts that may lead to full time positions based on performance and customer requirements.

Job Role / Skills

• Working from Engineering drawings which candidates must be able to read and interpret.
• Fitting / assembling special purpose machinery for prestigious clients.
• Adjust and / or modify components as required by the job specifications.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring equipment.
• You will ideally be educated to City and Guilds in Mechanical Engineering and a good track record of working in a manufacturing environment before.
• Applicants must be able to plan and work on their initiative with minimal supervision.
• Appreciate the need to maintain a very high standard of workmanship.
• Some flexibility of working may be required to meet customer deadlines.
  

There are a range of shifts available from straight days, mornings / afternoons and  nights. Shifts will pay a premium rate. The role offers excellent rates of pay plus plenty of overtime.
