The jobs:

We are looking for Naval Architects and Marine Structural Engineers with experience of design, up to and including Principal grades, to undertake various roles in locations throughout the UK including Rosyth, Aberdeen, Tyneside, Devonshire and London.

Qualifications and experience:

• Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or closely related discipline

• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is highly desirable.

• Possess sound knowledge of the design and construction of marine structures, i.e. ships (commercial and naval), FPSOs and off-shore oil & gas installations

• Knowledge of any of the following areas of expertise is highly desirable:  lift, stress, weight, hydrodynamics, ship motion, stability and/or structural analysis, Oil & Gas topside design / design analysis / structural integrity, moorings and risers.
• Opportunities also exist for Marine Warranty Surveyors with experience of design.

• 2 years minimum experience, 5 years or more for senior posts

For certain posts - possess UK security clearance or willing to undergo clearance
