Job Purpose
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance of the Shopping Centre and Business Centre as well as the reactive needs that occur day by day. In addition you will ensure that the contract’s delivers our clients performance requirements, specific site performance objectives and reporting and a pro-active service to the client.
Technical Competencies;
• Maintenance engineer electrically biased
• 17th edition electrician
• Experience of Air Conditioning systems
• Experience of PPM, must be able to work within a time frame as well as be able to react to emergencies
• Experience of control panels relating to Business centre / shopping centre
• Experience of compressors/air vents
• Knowledge of plumbing would be a bonus
• Must be pro-active and flexible in approach
• Sound understanding of H&S, Environment and QA procedures
• IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft applications and information management system.
Key Accountabilities:
Functional Responsibilities
Line managed responsibility for the PPM budget and service delivery of all mechanical and electrical services within the contract’s to meet business and contract objectives
• Create and sustain a cohesive, cost effective organisation for the service delivery of all contract requirements
• Interface regularly with the customer to ensure satisfactory service delivery
• Maintain customer relationship and develop and extend customer opportunity
Human Resource Management
• Continuously review work flow to ensure correct staffing levels as per contractual compliance
• Proactively complete succession planning, recruitment and induction/training plans
• Deal with issues on a daily basis to ensure good teamwork and high morale
• Support team meetings and events to develop the facilities team understands and awareness of the customer’s M&E responsibilities.
General
• Manage interface with third party suppliers and sub contractors
• Manage interface with other third parties
• Understand and meet customer requirements, agreeing and implementing service levels and utilising feedback to improve service
• Any other duties that may be required in order to facilitate the efficient operation of the contract.
