Your role is to ensure that the organisation has the necessary quality systems & controls in order to guarantee high quality products and standards.
Responsibilities:
· Define the Quality Policy for the company.
· Define and evaluate process indicators.
· Define, develop, maintain & review, all inspection policies and procedures within OEL Group.
· Define & implement all necessary quality controls
· Ensure the Quality department provides a high quality service, troubleshooting and implementing new processes to continuously improve.
· Supervise the quality control of the incoming goods and manufactured products.
· Instigate robust preventive and corrective actions.
· Initiate and drive continuous improvement programmes and trainings.
· Continuously strive to improve product and process quality.
· Develop and implement a “Total Quality Management” strategy and plans. Including resource, systems, timescales, financials, to support, contribute to and integrate within, the company’s annual business plan and long term strategy.
· Liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary - when affected by quality issues, including site visits.
· Organise and conduct the necessary external & internal audits.
Define,maintain and Improve of the following Systems:
o Receipt for repair inspection
o Receipt for manufacture
o Calibration control
o Standards library
o Customer technical records and procedures
o In process inspection
o Final/release inspection
· Develop internal activities and procedures to optimise the efficiency of the Quality Department and the Quality Management System as a whole.
· Organise the necessary quality analysis, registration and reporting using the most effective and up to date techniques.
· To coordinate ISO inspections and ensure all departments across the group adhere to the standards.
