Recruitment Advisor - Graduate & Apprenticeship

You will work for an award winning independent practice organisation delivering major development projects. Currently looking to recruit a Recruitment Advisor to attract and develop new talent as this is vital to the future success for the company. You will work with the HR team and be an ambassador in the market place enabling you to influence how the company is seen as an Employer of Choice. You will manage and develop the Graduate and Apprenticeship schemes and be responsible for the recruitment and support of industrial and summer placements, linking with a wide variety of educational and STEM activities.
Your new role
Act as an ambassador for the company brand by deploying an effective candidate attraction and engagement strategy. Collate recruitment requirements from the business to enable effective resource planning for graduates, apprenticeships and placements. Plan, organise and facilitate emerging talent assessment centres to fulfil the practice's resource requirements. Lead in developing a highly effective candidate attraction programme for graduates and apprentices to raise the profile of the company and the early career opportunities. Manage the recruitment, co-ordination and appointment of summer, industrial and work experience placements to enable effective pipelining of emerging talent.
Support in the development and delivery of highly effective annual induction and development programmes for emerging talent. Collaborate with STEM Ambassadors to co-ordinate effective educational engagement. Facilitate appropriate learning provision and ensure a smooth transition to college induction. Ensure the assignment and continued provision of appropriate technical and professional learning for all new graduates and apprentices.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of graduate and / or apprentice recruitment - preferably from within an engineering / development infrastructure / technical environment. Experience in developing and delivering candidate attraction programmes and assessment, delivering highly effective induction and development events for graduates and / or apprentices would be highly regarded. Have knowledge of strategic early careers engagement with an understanding of how to facilitate relevant learning provision. Experience of interfacing with senior management to enable effective resourcing and development to ensure business needs are met. You will be organised, outgoing and be able to present presentations and facilitation skills. Experience of liaising with and managing external providers and third parties and have the ability to work methodically and to set and meet deadlines. BPS Level A & B qualification is highly desirable.
