£75,000 - £80,000pa + car and benefits
Fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse General Manager to join a leading Logistics and Distribution Business.
This opportunity is to manage a large multi-client operation with over 300+ workforce. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day Warehouse and Transport operational activities along with the project management of exciting change initiatives.
We need a resilient, innovative and commercially aware General Manager with vast Warehouse & logistics experience gained within large scale environments. Team management skills including a strong communication across all departments and effective budget management.
You must have significant experience within 3PL business and have managed 300+ people. Ideally you are a process driven, proven leader who can engage and inspire their team whilst creating a positive working environment that focuses on delivering excellent service levels. You will ensure that all operations are processed in line with client SLA's; review volume forecasts and ensure adequate resources are in place and ensure daily performance reports are produced. You will have budgetary responsibility and will need to ensure that cost control and efficiency is maintained.
