Strong Java Swing Software Engineer required to develop user interfaces for a range of underwater autonomy solutions. The successful candidate will be required to:

·         Work as a member of a team of developers in the design, development and testing of software.

·         Follow industry best practices and standards, complying with specifications provided.

·         Follow processes and procedures as communicated by the Development Manager and/or Project Manager.

·         Ability to work within small engineering teams.

Academic Qualifications / Experience

·         Good degree (1st /2.1 Hons or equivalent) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar numerate discipline.

·         Practical experience in Java Swing programming or Linux or Windows systems (useful to have).

Essential Technical Skills

Demonstrable experience in:

·         Java

·         Swing

·         GUI

General Skills
