Who are we looking for?

When we recruit for the Vehicle Service Technician, we look for individuals who are experienced in all aspects of motor vehicle repair and diagnostics. As our ideal candidate, you will be qualified to a Level 3 or equivalent.  We also welcome applications from level 2 qualified candidates who can demonstrate they have the relevant experience and want to train to a level 3 standard. Although experience of working in a high-volume workshop would be an advantage, this would not be essential to be considered for the role. You must be diligent, hardworking and ensure the vehicles you work on are completed to the highest possible standards. Being a qualified MOT tester would be advantageous.

What will I be responsible for?

Reporting in to the Service Manager, the successful Technician / Mechanic will be responsible for undertaking maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles. Daily responsibilities will also include:

  • Effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed, and components utilised in line with group and manufacturer standards;
  • Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety'
  • Maintaining the highest standards of work.
