Apprentice Business Intelligence Consultant

Start your career working as an Apprentice Business Intelligence Consultant for a leading surrey based Business Intelligence and Performance Management specialist. Who will I work for, and what will I do?

With 20 years of success, this industry leading organisation specialise in both Microsoft and Oracle Business Intelligence and Performance Management solutions. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for their next award winning Apprentice to join their rapidly growing international team. Starting out within their Managed Services Practice, you will be supporting a number of large brand-recognisable clients based all over the world.

With the support and guidance of your mentor, your role as an Apprentice Business Intelligence Consultant within managed services will include platform support, application support/management, data analytics and providing business insight. By collaborating with your colleagues, part of your role will include client delivery so travelling to client sites will be necessary.

With a strong ethos and known for investing in their staff, you will be given a mobile phone, laptop, yearly Bonus upon successful completion, Free Food/Drink, Extra Training in Agile, ITIL and IT and the opportunity to attend lots of social events

What training will I receive?

Firebrand offers a unique Advanced Level 3 IT Apprenticeship that provides award-winning industry training and certifications, valuable work experience and offers on-going support all with the ultimate goal of securing you a long-term career within the world of technology.

During your 12 month IT apprenticeship programme, Firebrand will provide you with five weeks of intensive training at our state-of-the-art training centre. Our method of accelerated training allows you to achieve industry-recognised certifications from Microsoft and CompTIA faster, giving you more time to put your new skills in to practice within a working environment. Firebrand will also provide you with a Mentor who will be supporting, assessing and assisting you with your development whilst you are in the workplace.

What experience do I need?

You will have proven communication skills, a strong motivation and passionate for IT and an eagerness to learn and progress yourself. You will have gained solid technical knowledge through either school, college, work experience, voluntary employment or self-taught. You will possess a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to integrate within the team in addition to using your initiative. Finally, you will have a GCSE/A Level of at least A*- C (or equivalent) in English and Math’s

What happens after my apprenticeship?

Upon successful completion of your Apprenticeship, there is the opportunity to move into a permanent position within Managed Services or the Microsoft Development team as a fully-fledged Consultant. Alternatively, you could undertake a Higher (Degree equivalent) Apprenticeship, climbing quickly up the ladder and gaining a vast amount of experience both in the UK and Offshore.
