Bookkeeper / Accountant / Auditor - Firm of Accountants

As a Book Keeper / Audit Semi Senior / Accountant / Audit Senior you will currently be working in a firm of chartered accountant and be seeking a new role where you can grow and take additional responsibilities in the future. Your background will be in a small firm of accountants where you already deal with clients and their accounting needs and you will have a demonstrable background in an auditor, accountant or bookkeeper role already.

Ideally, you will be part qualified ACCA or ACA - perhaps you have qualified AAT are now starting to review your options for further study. This role would suit someone who is working in a small firm of accountants, 1 -2 partners and would like to learn and develop. Your responsibilities will include:

Dealing with auditing of clients

Corporation tax and personal tax returns

Dealing with statutory reporting including IFRS

Preparation of returns for your clients

Tax planning

Advising clients on inheritance tax, personal tax

Production of annual accounts for a number of clients

With a background in working for a firm of accountants and already having gained experience of dealing with client accounts, you will be able to demonstrate a good technical knowledge of audit, tax and accounts production.

This is a small team environment, friendly and progressive and you will have the opportunity to learn and really develop your skills further so it's a really great opportunity for someone with a background in bookkeeping, accounting or audit to join the business.
