As business development manager you will be hunting new business opportunities, using a database to self-generate leads and win new business. The role will also include managing currant and new accounts, so your time will be evenly split between these. You will be selling competitive fluid power/hydraulic systems into a range of different industries including agricultural, forestry, automotive, transport, rail, etc. throughout the North-West region up to the Scotland boarders. Your duties will include tasks such as following up new business leads whilst also generating your own and meeting prospective and existing clients.
The role as business development manager will require an individual with previous experience in fluid power/hydraulic systems selling into any market. A proven track record of success and good products knowledge is essential for the role. You will be hungry, motivated and driven in order to work towards targets. Good communication, organisation and time management skills are essential.
As business development manager, you will be offered a basic salary of £33,000-£35,000 depending on experience alongside a strong commission structure with great earning potential, with an OTE of £50,000 and a company car/car allowance.
