Cyber Security Manager

  • Salary/Wages:80,000.00 - 100,000.00 £  per year  £80000 - £100000 per annum, Benefits: Bonus & Beneifts

An exciting position at a leading insurance firm, heading up Cyber Security strategy and implementation of systems. You will report directly to the Director of IT and work alongside them to deliver these company vital initiatives.


This person must have CISSP, CISM or CISA certifications.

Responsibilities


  • Maintain Cyber Security Strategy


  • Ensure obligations in relation to regulatory controls are met


  • Monitor and update of controls in relation to changing regulatory requirements


  • Enhanced security governance


  • Maintain and update the firm's information security and related policies and standards on a regular basis


  • Monitor compliance with these security polices and standards


  • Engage with senior stakeholders on Cyber Security matters



Personal Requirements



  • Degree educated in Computer Sciences/Engineering or a related discipline.


  • CISSP, CISM or CISA certified.



  • Technical knowledge of IT including networks, operating systems (particularly Microsoft), databases, firewalls, anti-virus and patch management.


  • Knowledge and experience of the security products available including SIEM, IDS and encryption tools.


  • Awareness of the Data Protection Act, working under SOX, FSA initiatives such as Treating Customers Fairly and the UK Government Cyber Essentials


  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.


  • An understanding of UK general insurance is desirable.
