Finance Strategy Analyst
As a Barclays Finance Strategy Analyst, you will be supporting large regulatory projects for the Strategy Analytics team, working on providing support in the complaints market. The key responsibilities are to support finance, provide assessment on project work, and carry out competitor analysis with robust, detailed hypothesis lead strategic analysis leading to actionable recommendations and options for management

As a Finance Strategy Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve:
*Delivering end to end strategic analysis projects, through definition, analysis, recommendation and agreement with the appropriate governance and engaging with the relevant stakeholders, functions and SME's
*Assessing strategic implications of current business practices and proactively seek ways to improve rallying cry metrics, financial performance & operational effectiveness through the use of analysis both quantitative and qualitative data
*Shaping remediation strategy, policy and the commercial agenda through active participation in internal forums
*Taking ownership of your own development and have rigorous development plan in place to enable delivery to performance management objectives
*Working in a matrix team, taking a holistic approach to cover a range of projects
As a Finance Strategy Analyst, your skills and qualifications will include:
*Financial analysis and strategy planning in a dynamic and exciting project focussed environment
*Knowledge of the FCA/PRA regulatory framework relating to complaints
*Proven experience and delivery in the analysis, manipulation and interrogation of complex datasets to provide useful operational insight for Senior Stakeholders to aid their decision making
*Time management; the ability to prioritise to ensure an effective delivery within role and to a cross section of stakeholders
*CIMA, ICAW, ACA, ACCA or other accounting qualification (desirable), or experience in a Consulting background
