Job description

As the HR Advisor you will work as part of the management team in one of our stores, taking the lead and ownership of all aspects of HR policy and procedures. You'll be responsible for providing advice and support in employment relations, recruitment and development. Operating as an HR generalist you will ensure that all HR policies and procedures are implemented in line with legislative and audit requirements. Your performance will be measured against a set of key performance indicators so how you educate and influence the management team will be critical to your success.

Using your knowledge and experience of managing HR for a large/multi site, you will be able to identify areas of opportunity where HR can work effectively and drive efficiency. This is a role which will require you to get involved with a hand's on approach. Your commitment and drive will result in supporting the store's success and profitability through maximising peoples' contribution whilst minimising costs. You will have direct line management responsibilities, managing an HR administrator, who you will coach and develop to become an expert in their field. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build effective relationships through a flexible influencing and communication style, championing change and a high performance culture.
