Deployment Engineer

My Client is currently looking for a Deployment Engineer in Hull.   They are looking for the Engineer to have strong Windows XP and 7 skills that are able to work on their own with minimal supervision.  This is also a duel role were you will act as a Build Engineer and Floor Walker so Strong Customer facing skills are required.

Duties of Build Engineer:

Job requirement is:

·                      Experienced build technician

·                      Expected to complete minimum 6 refreshes per day unsupervised

·                      Good understanding of Windows XP and 7

·                      Experience/understanding of Altiris or similar for application deployment

·                      Data migration experience

·                      Image deployment experience

·                      Good documentation skills (updates to CMBD)

·                      Organised methodology

·                      Excellent time keeping

·                      Extremely reliable

·                      Works well in a team environment

·                      Adheres to instructions from team lead/experienced colleagues

Basic CRB clearance would be an advantage but can be obtained once you commence the contract. 

Start date: February 2012  TBC                                           Duration: approx. 17 weeks

Salary: £10 - £14 per hour (08.30 – 17.30 with an hour lunch)
