Our client, a well-established company, providing excellent service, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Parts Manager to support continual improvements. The Parts Manager will be responsible for developing the department, whilst driving forward and maximising profits within the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity and would suit someone who has previously worked within the motor trade.
Key responsibilities:
· Ensure the department achieves it financial objectives by monitoring management statistics closely
· Organise sales promotions to boost sales at appropriate opportunities
· Ensure stock levels are adequate but not excessive in relation to sales targets
· Maintain the computer system to ensure that all customer orders are processed promptly
· Provide customers, both internal and external, with a level of service which will achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
· Liaise with senior management on all department activities
Experience:
· Management experience essential
· Experience of working with technical elements
· Leadership and coaching attribution
· Strong numeracy, literacy and communication skills
· Knowledge of modern business methods and financial control
· Experience of working with people of all levels
· Highly driven, self-motivated
· Achieve deadlines consistently under pressure
· Excellent communication skills
