Baltic Recruitment are recruiting for a Machine Team Leader for a large engineering company based in South East Northumberland. The ideal candidate will come from an Engineering background and will ideally be an existing supervisor or team leader of manual turning, millers, laithes, grinders and CNC machinery.
You will be able to think and talk like an Engineer with a proven and demonstrable "time served" history.
You may only have a few years experience, but you must be a born leader and be able to put your experience into practice.

Perhaps you have been a "second in command" at a Corporate Engineering company or you have manned a few Engineers for a precision Engineering business but you must be able to adopt a LEAN attitude and follow through with 5S instruction and adhere to that style of process.

Your working week will consist of 40% hands on machining whilst the remaining 60% of your position will be pure leadership and setting a "lead by example" approach. You will be working on CNC machines therefore CNC experience would be very advantageous however vigorous training will be given to candidates without previous experience. However you MUST have a background in Milling and Turning.

You will be rewarded with a company profit share (overtime is offered to all) Contributory pension plus an amazing 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.

£25,000.00-£27,000.00 per annum, permanent role.
