£20,000 to £23,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits + Fantastic ongoing Training

This is a fantastic opportunity for you, a Bid Executive who wants to join a highly successful company, working for an experienced and highly regarded Bid Manager. 

Ideally, you will be working in a similar role already, or have an understanding and insight into the ‘Bid’ function within a company. Experience of working within an IT products, solutions or services company would be beneficial but not essential.

Whilst sales experience is not vital, a good understanding of the sales function (ideally in the Government Sector) is required and it would be expected that the candidate can demonstrate a good commercial awareness.

In brief the Bid Executive will:

• Search available services for a range of Tendering opportunities using predefined criteria
• Carry out initial filtering of opportunities (after training and guidance)
• Administrate the management of the opportunities
• Manage and complete the initial stages of the Tendering opportunity
• Be a member of the team(s) formed to respond to complex Tendering opportunities
• Exploit any new business opportunities that become apparent

In order to be successful in your application, you should have:

·         Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

·         Knowledge of UK Government Procurement Process.

·         An understanding of the IT industry

·         The ability to understand complex customer requirements relating to IT.

·         You must be self motivated and looking to further your career.

·         Be a team player.

·         Able to keep up with the latest Technological Developments.
