Account Manager – fresh produce industry – Cambridgeshire – c. £30,000
Account Manager required by a market leading fresh produce company based in Cambridgeshire.
As Account Manager you will report to the Commercial Manager, taking responsibility for the day to day commercial management of one of their major food retailer accounts (Tesco / Waitrose) The key focus of the role will be to maintain the relationship with the customer, maximising established relationships, driving sales and profit growth.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Account Manager within the fresh produce sector, ideally educated to HND / Degree level, or equivalent. Knowledge and experience of dealing with customers with a particular understanding of the mindset of a supermarket buyer (how they are influenced and targeted) is required. Strong negotiation skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
