Business Analyst

About the Job

Business Analyst - London & Manchester - £250pd

This is an exciting job opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to work with a leading Broadcasting Station Corporation based in Central London and Manchester. The company are currently growing and are keen on a keen Business Analyst to join their team.

Background

Technology Support is the IT and engineering support department for the clients flagship production centres in London and Salford, Manchester. Technology Support is formed of circa 220 staff working across TV, Radio and Online platforms. Currently Technology Support is merging it's 3 London based departments into one as it moves into a new building, in line with the largest move of production the client has ever undertaken. At the same time it has created an entirely new operation at Salford to support the clients new facilities there.

Objective

Tech Support now needs to create a new set of staff rotas based on a new demand profile which has yet to be completed. The Business Analysts recruited will be required to prepare that profile that can be then used by a working group of staff to create a rota pattern from which will then be presented back to management for approval before staff and union consultation.

Demand Profile

The business demand profile necessary will provide the data to the workgroup that shows what levels of staffing we need across three different skills sets. (Generic IT, Production Application, Broadcast Engineering.) The work that needs to be identified/complete:

  • the TV, radio and online output schedule (hours of operation) for the all of clients new facilities (studios, edit suites, graphics facilities) in London and Salford and how this changes over time in line with production migration
  • the total number of users on each site at any given time mapped to systems and applications

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a major Broadcasting corporation during a period of growth.

Please contact the Recruiting Team at IT Human Resources with a fully updated CV and Covering Letter.
