Mobile Applications Solutions Architect / Senior Developer, Bracknell
The Mobile Solution Architect will be responsible for shaping the technology direction and guiding development of our client's new mobile experiences. Working in an agile environment, with engaged business stakeholders, you will use your experience to create mobile applications that delight and engage their customers.
You will combine your deep experience of architecting and delivering web and mobile solutions with your personal skills and credibility to lead your team to successful project delivery. You will take accountability for ensuring that the end-to-end solutions they create for their customers fulfil their expectations of high quality and cost-effectiveness.
You will create solution documentation, provide architectural guidance and take the proposals through the IT and Change Governance processes. You will have overall architectural guidance to ensure compliance with our client's principles.
A key component of their digital and modernisation strategy is to enable customers to interact with using mobile devices (phones, tablets etc). This requires building and adapting software and websites to present through these types of platforms and via the various operating systems (e.g., Android or Apple iOS).
You will be responsible for the development and management of these applications and platforms.
What you'll bring
*Key experience as a Technical Architect or Solution Architect with experience of designing Mobile solutions.
*Expertise in iOS, Android, Windows and mobile devices
*Experience of application development and responsive design
*Ability to communicate technical ideas and issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
*Experience with multi-tier architectures
*Experience leading multi-disciplined agile team's development
*Exposure to or awareness of architectural frameworks
*Practical experience of producing end-to-end architecture and / or strategy artefacts
*Ability to define and / or validate architectural proposals and standards
*Strong conceptual, problem solving and judgement capabilities
