1 Year FTC - Payroll Administrator - £19,500 - £26,500

Your new company
You will be involved with one of the worlds biggest legal services provider. This company has a head office based in the Leicestershire area.

Your new role
Your new company are looking for an experienced payroll administrator which they require for a busy finance department. the payroll administrator will ensure that the payroll functions required to pay all the staff and pensioners is carried out correctly. You will be responsible for inputting high volumes of data, new starters and leavers. Carrying out basic calculations quickly and accurately including maternity and unpaid leave, prioritising workload to achieve tight deadlines. Maintain an up to date knowledge of inland revenue legislation affecting all statutory payments and deductions. Be fully conversant with the payroll system in order to input data to produce payrolls. working knowledge of the policy in relation to travel and food expenses and the tax and vat implications. Provide training as required to users of the payroll system, be fully conversant with the reporting tools within the payroll system.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience in running monthly payroll for high volume employee's. Be able to work 37 hours per week. Hold an IPPM Practitioner certificate in payroll administration or equivalent ( grade 5).
IPPM diploma in payroll management (grade 6)
experience in working in a payroll/finance environment
knowledge of current statutory HMRC regulations in relation to salaries and wages.
