Project Manager - Children's Services Commissioning, Mental Health

Our London based, Local Authority Client is seeking an interim project manager to join the integrated commissioning team to work on the child and adolescent mental health programme.

The Client is undertaking a programme of service improvement and system development, which aims to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the management and implementation of specific projects to improve emotional and mental health well-being as set out in the Client's transformation plan. The post holder will link health promotion, peer support and other mental health capacity building projects with the CCG Local Care Strategy and thus contribute to developing new models of integrated care both in primary care and other community services.

We are looking for candidates who have a strong customer focus; are adaptable and able to work across a range of service areas; can build strong relationships and use them to influence change; has strong analytical skills.

Key Requirements:

* Knowledge and understanding of child mental, psychological and emotional health
* Educated to masters level or equivalent level of experience at a senior level in specialist area
* Extensive knowledge and experience of project management
* Highly developed communication skills for delivering key messages
* Strong representational skills for conveying complex concepts
* Strong analytical and information organising skills
* Evidence of leading development of new policies, processes or pathways of care.
