Salary: £18,000 to £32,000 - Dependent on experience

About the company

Established in 2012 as a diverse multi-service company providing design, development and delivery solutions to meet retail and commercial client’s needs.

Core to the business is shop-fitting, retail design, development and installation and we are looking for a Project Manager to work on roll-out projects mainly in the UK and occasionally in Europe.

Duties of the Project Manager:

The role will work closely with the Account Director and Design Team to deliver projects of a high quality, on-time and to budget.

• To oversee and coordinate the implementation of shop-fittings and displays fixtures into new and existing retail outlets throughout the UK and occasionally in Europe.
• Work closely with the client’s project team to ensure their expectations are met and managed.
• Produce detailed material take-offs from drawings, manage stock and non-stock items. Work with suppliers, production and distribution to ensure all materials required for the project are delivered accurately and on-time.
• Attend client and site meetings as and when required.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate drawings are produced that reflect site and client requirements.
• Produce project programmes and work with clients, architects, contractors and installation teams to meet installation deadlines.
• Produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements as appropriate to the project.
• From time to time assist with the design and development of new concept store fixture displays.
• Work with the Commercial Manager to ensure cost estimates are accurate.
• Obtain client approvals in respect of drawings, amendments and variations and communicate accordingly to the relevant parties.

Requirements of the Project Manager:

• Previous experience working in project management within the shopfitting and display industry.
• A good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements within the construction industry.
• Computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills.
• An ability to use AutoCAD would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Team player with a flexible attitude allowing them to adapt to a growing business environment.
• Have excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
• Be resilient and able to work well under pressure.
• Highly organised and the ability to prioritise a heavy workload.
• Excellent interpersonal skills as the role demands effective communication both internally and externally at all times.
