My client is seeking aimpressive classroom practitioner for their Maths department on a contract basis for maternity cover. You’ll have superb leadership, specialist support and state-of-the-art-facilities, allowing you to focus on delivering the National Curriculum to primary and secondary aged pupils in a memorable way. Committed to fulfilling the potential of each and every student, no matter their educational needs (including emotional and social difficulties, autistic spectrum conditions and speech and language communication difficulties), you share the belief that all young people are capable of achieving great things.

You will take the National Curriculum and bring it alive in a way that is meaningful and engaging to students. Ideally you will have experience of dealing with complex educational needs, as you will need to connect with the students, understand what makes them unique, and working to make a real difference to their social and emotional development. But you excel in this role, as it is what you are passionate about and why you will be the right for this school.

My client offers state-of-the-art educational resources and facilities and provides high quality specialist support for young people aged 8 to 16 years.

You will have:

  • QTS
  • Previous teaching experience with appropriate age group
  • Experience of teaching EBD children
  • Specialist qualification in Special Education
  • Appropriate Subject/Key Stage knowledge
  • Ability to deliver a flexible differentiated curriculum to pupils who may be functioning at low levels of ability
  • High level resilience
  • Good level of Physical Fitness
