Duration: Full time, ongoing

The School/role:

This is a role for an SEN setting within Birmingham that is looking for a qualified Teacher who has experience working within special needs.

The school is a setting for pupils with strong behavioural needs inclusive of ADD and ADHD. These are at KS3 and KS4.

The role itself is a position teaching core lessons to very small groups of pupils, where you will additionally be supported by strong teaching assistants in the classroom. It would be beneficial if you have team teach training however this isn’t essential and the school are really looking for someone that has recent experience within an SEN school or PRU.

A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.

                                                                                                                        

Requirements:

·         Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

·         SEN School/PRU Experience

·         Available full time

·         Level 1 safeguarding certificate

·         Recent school based references

·         Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport

·         Full DBS – on the update service
