Technical Support Services Manager

Technical Support Services Manager: Reporting directly to the CTO and working alongside all internal business departments, the role of Technical Services Delivery Manager will be responsible for the daily management of the internal and external deployed technical solutions, ranging from hardware configuration and software imaging to server management both within a virtualised cloud environment and in a physical environment.

Alongside the system management role there is a requirement to manage the internally and externally deployed solution monitoring, whilst also providing support for internal and external clients.

The role requires a good understanding of business processes, along with a good level of commercial awareness. This role will require you to work in both single and team environments and requires the ability to be able to multi task, key to this role will be the ability to prioritise workloads and work to defined deadlines.

Technical Skills (Essential):

*Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system XP / 7 / 8, server 2003 / 2008 / 2012
*Experience of working with Sonic Wall Firewalls
*Hyper V management
*Extensive knowledge of networking technologies and protocols
*Good working knowledge of workstation, laptop and server hardware
*SQL Server 2005 / 2008 /2012
*Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a senior support role
*Active directory management

Technical Skills (Preferable):

*Experience of working with Microsoft Azure
*Experience of deploying and managing office 365
*IP phone systems
*ITIL service delivery training

Personal qualities:

*Strong communication skills with the ability to communication at all business levels
*Logical thought process for both investigation purposes and solution design
*Ability to manage time effectively to achieve the defined tasks within the deadlines set by the business
*Ability to work under your own initiative
*Ability to work to deadlines under pressure
*Attention to detail
